LEGO

The name 'LEGO' is an abbreviation of the two Danish words "leg godt", meaning "play well". The LEGO Group was founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Christiansen. The Company has passed from father to son and is now owned by Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, a grandchild of the founder. It has come a long way over the past almost 80 years - from a small carpenter’s workshop to a modern, global enterprise that is now, in terms of sales, the world’s fifth-largest manufacturer of toys.
Fun LEGO facts:
• More than 400 million children and adults will play with LEGO bricks this year.

approx. 2m elements an hour or 36,000 a minute.
• On average there are 62 LEGO bricks for every person on earth.
• The world’s children spend 5 billion hours a year playing with LEGO bricks.
• With a production of about 306 million tyres a year, the LEGO Group is the world’s
largest tyre manufacturer.
• In the manufacture of LEGO bricks the machine tolerance is as small as 0.002 mm
• The LEGO Club has 2.7 million members worldwide.
• Approx. 440 billion LEGO elements have been manufactured since 1949.

Mirror

A mirror is an object with at least one polished and therefore specularly reflective surface.
The most familiar type of mirror is the plane mirror, which has a flat surface. Curved mirrors are also used, to produce magnified or diminished images or focus light or simply distort the reflected image.
The first mirrors used by people were most likely pools of dark, still water, or water collected in a primitive vessel of some sort. The earliest manufactured mirrors were pieces of polished stone such as obsidian, a naturally occurring volcanic glass.

I Believe that mirrors are one of the most useful enventions ever, 'cause it can provide us our image, in the way we may take care of our stile (this applies mainly to womans). But this isn't the only application for mirrors in cars for example is also important to help the driver (and more...).

So mirrors have a lot of functions, and we can conclude that in some way they make our life easier.

Just breathe is one of the new songs from the amamzing Pearl Jam. This song talks about life and love.
Has the song tells us we most enjoy life the best we can, and be in the company of the people you love and you really consider a friend, a true friend.
The way we live our life should make who we are, and the way we relate to the people we love should make as foulfild. And in the end, when we are knoking on evens doors we may leave this world felling good with ourselfes and the life we lived, knowing that we leave someone crying for us but that we will meet tham again, oon the otherside.

Technology.

Technology is making many people lazier than ever. In fact, now-a-days people don't like to move their "butts", not even just to turn on the TV (etc...).
Luckily in our case it has affected us, but it isn't very serious, because we consider ourselves active people.
Sure we like to waste our time doing nothing, and just play our video games, our surfing the internet, but we don't let it get to us soo hard.
What we prefer, or at least we use more are mobile phones, PC, playstation, and in Carlos' case the Ipod.
Now speaking more generally, people only get affected by technology if they want to, 'cause outdoors there are soo many activities and soo much fun that (if we want to) it will not be replaced by technology. We need to know to distinguish the two worlds.

Considering school work, it depends of the kind of student we are. A few years ago students need to be more dedicated and apply more to their skils, but in the days we live in it's not soo good 'cause most of students don't understand what they are doing, and don't even try, they just google it and copy and paste.
If we want too we can make much better work than this, but the problem is that students are getting lazier and lazier.... such that many aspects of a student's life are getting lost our just forgoten, anyway we can not sit down and let technology do everything for us.
